Cyberpunk: 2077 Comes to Mac This Friday Alongside New Update

After over four years of waiting, players who have been clamouring to play CD Projekt Red's dystopian Cyberpunk: 2077 on their Mac will finally get their wish. The game was recently announced to be coming out on July 17th: tomorrow. The game has received an immense amount of patches and updates from its disastrous 1.0 launch (including a 2.0 update that overhauled the levelling, cyberware and police mechanics) in so much that many are calling it the best comeback story in gaming.

Thankfully, fans of Cyberpunk not on Mac will have more to look forward to tomorrow as well since the much anticipated update 2.3 is set to drop. This will include new vehicles, photo mode upgrades and additional features set to be revealed later today as part of a CD Projekt Red stream. Any additional content coming as part of this update will be detailed there. Its set to take place at 4pm BST so make sure to watch it if you're interested in every last detail set to be added to the game.

Rumoured features that many have been clamouring for include a new game plus mode, more side missions and even a level cap increase alongside repayable gigs. Whether these are just wishful thinking considering that they are some of the more wished for features will be revealed as part of the live stream later today.

CD Projekt Red originally stated that the most recent update 2.2 would be the game’s last but 2.3 clearly contradicts that. The developers also stated that 2.3 would be similar to scale to 2.2 which added enhanced vehicle customisation, major additions to photo mode and a whole slew of new cars and bikes to ride across Night City. Expect a similar amount of content for the upcoming update slated to release tomorrow.
