Hollow Knight: Silksong Gets Official Price Reveal

After many rumours and speculation online, Hollow Knight has finally received an official price confirmation of $19.99/£19.99. Adjusting for inflation, this makes the highly anticipated sequel almost the exact same price as the original game- which was an outstanding deal at just £14.99 on its release back in 2017. This news was announced as part of a post on BlueSky, in which Team Cherry also reminded fans that the game was only 4 days away.

With the game now set to launch in just a couple of days, fans are clamouring to consume as much Hollow Knight content as possible before the sequel drops on September 4th. Be it extensive lore videos, fan theories or, of course, playing through the first game one last time. In fact, it seems that the last one is by far the most popular as Hollow Knight has soared to a peak player count of 70,000 in the last few days up from the 20,000 number previously.

With Silksong well and truly now being on its way to release, its clear that the hype couldn’t get any bigger. Even without a large marketing budget or trailers dropping in the lead up to release, Hollow Knight’s sequel is receiving just as much buzz as you could ever need online- especially for an indie game.

You can pick up Hollow Knight: Silksong on all major platforms when it launches on September 4th for a price point of £19.99. Don’t expect any reviews until at least a few days after release, however, considering that no review codes are being sent out. Its best to check out this one without any outside influence anyway.
